Terms and Conditions
1. The contents of the LogoDesignCode.com (LDC) Code of Ethics as outlined on http://www.logodesigncode.com/code.php is compiled by LDC staff, with the aim of (1) protecting logo designers and their clients and (2) offering logo design shoppers an easy way to determine the code of ethics to which the logo designer subscribes. LDC can however make no guarantees on behalf of its members. Membership does not mean that a logo designer complies with the LDC Code of Ethics, only that, according to the information available to LDC at the time, the member logo designer is in compliance with the LDC Code of Ethics. Logo design shoppers are urged to investigate each logo design company carefully before engaging their services.
2. While LDC will make every effort to determine whether its members comply with the LDC Code of Ethics, it often has only the member logo designer's web site to use in its evaluation, with little means to validate claims made on the web site. Even though additional information might be available to LDC, users should assume that LDC, by default, has only the information on the member's web site to base its evaluation on.
3. LDC publishes a list of members that, according to the information available to LDC, comply with the principles and guidelines set forth in the LDC Code of Ethics. This list of members should in no way be considered an endorsement or recommendation on the part of LDC. While LDC staff may be logo designers themselves and may be employed by LDC members, LDC itself is not affiliated to or owned by a logo design company. The business practices and ethics applied by its members are not under the control of LDC and not necessarily endorsed by LDC.
4. Use of the LDC web site and service is at the risk of the user and subject to the acceptance of the LDC Disclaimer.
